Hi, Im James Hudson and I will be playing anything from Robert Johnson to Aphex Twin. I’m going to talk about the music I love, how I found it, the story behind the music and what it means to me. I want my audience to be everyone, anyone who loves great music. I want to make a connection with people through music and maybe introduce them to a song that they haven’t experienced before. I want people to be moved, excited and feel a wide range of emotions. I hope people can build memories with me providing the soundtrack.

I present an eclectic mix of music and comment, often with a guest or two. I will also play new electronic music from local producers. I’m a prominent member of the relatively new Exeter House & Techno community, and will draw attention to news and events relating to that.

The Scrambled Cabbage Show

Rufus aka the Cabbage Scrambler takes you on a journey down the auditory rabbit hole, from the sublime to the raucus to the occasionally ridiculous. Expect music from the far flung reaches of space and time, features on extremely niche subjects and occasional weather reports with Michael Flatfish. A show for anyone open to the idea of getting their cabbage scrambled.

Various musics with Matthew, every now and then, a bit of skateboarding, surf or bike chat, sometimes Devon related, sometimes not.

Station Well Raver

With Steve, aka Well Raver. It’s a rave music show under a wellbeing umbrella. This means I will have breaks within the music in order to talk about the latest wellbeing news in the local community.

Mind The Gap

We are Rob and Tom. Mind the Gap is a show which could include pretty much anything and everything. We would like to believe that if we are having fun then hopefully you will too!

Luke and Jonny play dank, obscure, killer sounds from black metal & hardcore to ambient & dungeon synth. One to wind up or down to midnight depending on the month.

Ungrateful Colonist Radio Hour

Presented by Tim Myers, a self-described music nerd and recent American arrival in the UK. On the show, Tim details an American’s experience in the UK and exorcises his immigrant homesickness with deep explorations of the music of various American scenes and other current and former members of the commonwealth. With a characteristically punk rock and DIY attitude, Tim channels the American settlers who came before him, creating a soundtrack for those livid over stamp taxes, ready to dump imported tea into harbors.

Hailing from the Great Plains’ state of Nebraska in the US, I bring a unique mix of genres to the table (rock, punk, soul, reggae, country, blues, jazz, world, hip hop). Do I have a favourite? They’re all my favourite, depending on my mood! I dj’d at venues in Switzerland and volunteered at KEXP in Seattle. I love music & the power it has to connect us. Just a couple beers is an innocent enough beginning to many a memorable shenanigan – if you don’t mind a bit of irreverence & goofiness along the way!
