A traveller linguist, singer/songwriter, philosopher and photographer from Transylvania. Playing music that heals the soul and makes one a bit more aware about mental health issues. All this seasoned with friendly interviews with local artists regardless of how known or unknown they are. Live acoustic sessions. Live video streaming. I wish to make you feel connected, elevated and more aware.

Living Better with Dementia

With local dementia champion, Gina Awad BEM. I showcase a wide range of guests from people living with dementia to care partners and families in addition to sharing innovative practice. I have a variety of guests from the local area and from across the country.

The High Fidelity Radio Show

Nick Burrow and Nigel Lowe, old friends from Exmouth Comprehensive Sixth Form days (1977–now), each create a playlist (Nick Hornby style) to share with our audience.

We don’t know… but we like to find out. Jonathan plays mostly current pop music from his tablet, @will789gb plays R&B from CDs. We’ve an interest in tech to counter disability, starting with sound.

The Morning After

Will & McLeod play a mix of well-known and obscure funk, dance, indie, soul, ‘hits’ and even jazz, sprinkled with chat about their (often contrasting) music playlists.

Classical Journey

Luch Càise-Dearg presents baroque, classical, romantic and modern music performed by solo artists, chamber ensembles, orchestras and choirs. Most recordings are made by local artists, many of whom discuss their work and perform live on the programme.

Pete’s Sunday Show

Magazine style show – pop/rock/electronica music with intersticed segments: 1) Community Spotlight, featuring pre-recorded interviews with local good causes and interesting people 2) Tips and life hacks – quick and useful techniques or ways or doing things 3) Out and about: shoutouts for events and happenings in the local area 4) Ask Auntie Pete – ability for people to ask questions either live via email or in advance and get best answers on a range of topics. Tone is relaxed and fun – musical tone is upbeat and energetic without being too frenetic as it’s a Sunday. Nothing political and nothing likely to cause friction. We’re here to entertain and recognise folks doing good stuff out there!

The Blue Room is a space to play and discuss the deeper and more emotional side of dance music. From house & electro to garage & jungle. My main goal is to share my favourite tunes as well as the artists, labels and culture that surround the dance music scene. I hope to reach a wide range of music enthusiast and believe that most musically led individuals could find something from my show that draws them into a new culture, sound, artist or label. My main goal is to build emotion within my listeners, and help people understand power that dance music has as a listener, as well as talk about how sounds such as blues, house, funk and soul have helped to inspire and continue to progress the sound.

White Russian for Breakfast

I present an eclectic mix of music and comment, often with a guest or two. I will also play new electronic music from local producers. I’m a prominent member of the relatively new Exeter House & Techno community, and will draw attention to news and events relating to that.

The Inner Soundtrack with Nicole

The Inner Soundtrack is an introspective music and conversation show presented by Nicole, exploring the emotional relationship people have with music across different eras of their lives.

Blending alternative, folk, electronic, metalcore, singer-songwriter and emotionally immersive soundscapes, the focus is less on genre and more on emotional truth — the way music can hold us, reveal us, unravel us and sometimes help us reconnect with ourselves again.
