Adrian Bull (aka Bully), Paul Giblin, Helen Connole, Tim Price (aka RJ Retsina) and Raj Prashar. The music is an eclectic mix of many styles from all over the world. The show aims to complement the annual Exeter Respect festival and celebrate diversity in the area and in the wider world.

Hosted by Vinnie Grist, the Old Wave/New Wave show features Post Punk and New Wave tracks from the late 70s and early 80s as well as earlier artists who influenced the New Wave sound and more recent Alternative acts.

A four-hour show in two halves. The first two-hours is ECELCTIC AVENUE, a real mix of all things old, new, unreleased in genres as disparate as the stars, such as: funk, jazz, nu-jazz, soul, hip hop, house, folk, singer-songwriter, indie, alt-rock, 80s synth pop, pop music, rockabilly, reggae, dub and more... The second hour is dedicated to Hip Hop and Electro from the 1980s (the lense being 1979-1992). I want to focus on the eras of Hip Hop that forged the styles we have today, the unfashionable eras, the one-hit wonders, the origins of todays titans, as well as putting these early rap tracks in the context of early house music, and other genres which splintered out.
