The Carefully Curated Show

The Carefully Curated Show

First Thursday of each month

Hosted by Stephen Carr, I play anything vaguely electronic spanning four decades: from the 80s to present day. From remixes of classic electro music, electro pop and less well known gems.

What brought you to Phonic FM?

I got introduced to the station by a former presenter, John Stammers. Having worked in BBC Radio, starting in the mid 80s at BBC Radio Devon, then the BBC radio library in London, it feels the circle is now completed.

What does Phonic FM mean to you?

The ability to play music that I love and hopefully the listeners will enjoy.

What do you do when you’re not on Phonic FM?

Spend too much time in the library.

How do radio presenters do it?

With a good set of headphones and quality music.
