Luch Càise-Dearg presents baroque, classical, romantic and modern music performed by solo artists, chamber ensembles, orchestras and choirs. Most recordings are made by local artists, many of whom discuss their work and perform live on the programme.
With Chee. The main objective of Anti-Telly Time is to give listeners a giggle and a smile. There’s music from local bands through to obscure sounds, and music that makes you dance against your will. Sometimes spoken-word and other non-music delights will pop up, with guests on occasion. It’s a party and you’re invited.
A traveller linguist, singer/songwriter, philosopher and photographer from Transylvania. Playing music that heals the soul and makes one a bit more aware about mental health issues. All this seasoned with friendly interviews with local artists regardless of how known or unknown they are. Live acoustic sessions. Live video streaming. Bully, Paul Giblin, Helen Connole and Paul Barnes take turns to present the show. The music is an eclectic mix of many styles from all over the world. The show aims to complement the annual Exeter Respect festival and celebrate diversity in the area and in the wider world.
Linda Humphries provides business information, advice and interviews with local business owners. The programme also features listings for business networking events. The music is swing jazz or upbeat jazz to put listeners in a good mood. It’s a place to share ideas, and spread optimism in the business world.
Exeter Art Radio. New and old sounds from the listenable avant-garde, art-related soundscapes and audio works, songs about the anthropocene and first world problems.
Artist and cultural conversations and interviews will sit comfortably alongside listings and reviews of stuff going down in the locale.
With Christian Brook. The Decades Show aims to find music from across the past ten decades that will appeal to anyone who was into the alternative scene in the 80s – basically anything from the 1910s to yesterday!
I present an eclectic mix of music and comment, often with a guest or two. I will also play new electronic music from local producers. I’m a prominent member of the relatively new Exeter House & Techno community, and will draw attention to news and events relating to that.
Hosted by Jeff Sleeman, Happy Sundays promotes and explores the creative and cultural life of the area with an emphasis on how the arts can contribute to wellbeing.
