King Hammond & Rude Boy Mafia live, Saturday 13 July
Phonic FM’s Friday Modulation presents King Hammond & Rude Boy Mafia as part of Exeter Skafest.
King Hammond is Nick Welsh former member of Bad Manners, The Selecter amd Skaville UK. He has worked with and produced artists like Prince Buster, Laurel Aitken, Dave Barker, Judge Dread and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. King Hammond’s first album ‘Revolution 70’ was released in 1989 and after a 21 year gap he has just released a new CD ‘The King & I’ on N1 Records. Nick also writes music for TV, films and computer games.
Exeter Skafest features two days of live bands and DJs at Exeter Phoenix alongside BBQ and DJs on The Terrace.
