Phonic FM – Exeter's sound alternative

Will & McLeod play a mix of well-known and obscure funk, dance, indie, soul, ‘hits’ and even jazz, sprinkled with chat about their (often contrasting) music playlists.

Presented by Sketch and Rhod. We cover punk, post-punk, indie, industrial, electronic, experimental, folk, country, jazz, soundtracks – in fact if we like it, we play it.

Nick Burrow and Nigel Lowe, old friends from Exmouth Comprehensive Sixth Form days (1977–now), each create a playlist (Nick Hornby style) to share with our audience.

With Mark Armitage. The programme features a wide variety of music, well known and sometimes more neglected music from the 70s but also more recent releases and contemporary rock, jazz and folk. Occasionally I will indulge in some ancient prog-rock.

Presented by Jake and Bod. A diverse and eclectic mix of music: reggae/punk/funk/hip-hop/rock/electronica/ska and many other wonderful tunes for your ears.

Presented by Jude Fear with various guest hosts. We play an eclectic mix of various genres including pop, Americana and indie. We talk largely nonsense in an effort to make each other and our audience laugh.
