The Frank Show
I play a variety of different music genres such as blues, rock and reggae… just to name a few.
What brought you to Phonic FM?
I have had a passion for music since I was 10 years old. Back in 1983 I first discovered Iron Maiden with the song ‘The Number of the Beast’. I had never heard anything like it before and from there my mad music journey began…
I was quite fixated with heavy metal for 10 years, until I watched a video of The Doors which opened my mind to other music styles. Since then I have kept my music taste open and eclectic, which has led me to where I am playing to you on Phonic FM today.
I hope you enjoy listening to my show as much as I enjoy preparing it for you.
What does Phonic FM mean to you?
I love Phonic FM because is a very well established community where the people are friendly, amicable and give equal opportunities to all – plus it reaches a significant wide audience.
I feel very inspired when I listen to the other programme makers from Phonic FM.
What do you do when you’re not on Phonic FM?
I do gardening and nature conservation, which are my other passions in life.
I also do a specialist programme on Soundart Radio (Dartington/Totnes) every Friday at 15:00 where I just play heavy metal.
