Kate’s Music
It’s a mix of my main musical interests: jazz, folk, blues and world music, via my own CDs and those given to me at gigs I promote at Calstock Arts. So a mix of the distant past with the very recent. I talk about rediscovering CDs that were once loved and how it’s been great to reconnect with them. I imagine that people listening might think in the same way and hopefully discover some new music.
What brought you to Phonic FM?
I came in for a chat with David Treharne on his Edge of Jazz show and one thing led to another.
What does Phonic FM mean to you?
It’s been a great opportunity to reconnect with my previous radio experience.
What do you do when you’re not on Phonic FM?
I’m the music programmer at Calstock Arts, in south-east Cornwall.
How do radio presenters do it?
For the love of it.
