Roots and Shoots and Phonic FM present a special concert: Dave Wood with solo and collaborative sets plus Mudskippers at The Voodoo Lounge, Exeter Phoenix on Saturday 10th December, 2011.
Dave Wood is one of the best acoustic singer /guitarists in the south-west with a warm and engaging style. His performances and his songs are highly regarded. Dave’s song May the Kindness has achieved a great deal of world-wide attention after the recording of it by the well-known Jackie Oates.
Mudskippers are an exciting new band making friends and fans wherever they play. They went down a storm at Exeter Respect in the Park this year. They play superb original music and comprise Bully (guitar, mandolin,vocals), Jo Hooper (cello, vocals), Alan Rice (guitar, mandolin, vocals) and Rich Cooke (percussion and vocals).
