A top line up at Beautiful Days

Beautiful Days, Escot Park near Ottery St Mary, 19th to 21st August 2011

This year’s fabulous Beautifl Days festival is just weeks away, with loads of brilliant acts lined up it promises to be another great festival.

Headlining the main stage this year are Carter USM, Big Audio Dynamite, Gogol Bordello and Levellers.

Other acts include Tim Minchin, Flogging Molly, Afro Celt Sound System, Pop Will Eat Itself, I Am Kloot, The Low Anthem, Oysterband, Stereo MCs, Teddy Thompson, Eddi Reader, System 7, The Beat and Kissy Sell Out.

Beautiful Days is the Levellers festival which takes place at Escot Park in the heart of Devon. This year’s festival is the ninth Beautiful Days and all tickets have already sold out.

The family festival boasts five stages, site art, a huge children’s area in the centre of the festival, comedy, theatre, family camping, a healing area, licensed real ale bars from Otter Brewery and carefully selected food and craft stalls.

The Sunday theme for 2011 is Spots and Polka Dots.

Scary Dave presents’ comedy on the Saturday and Sunday afternoon in The Little Big Top with Sol Bernstein, Dougie Dunlop, Debra-Jane Appelby, Paddy Lennox, Bentley, Scott Denyer, Rich Allen, Nick Page, Bob Mills, John Warburton, Pierre Hollins, Ola, Sully O’Sullivan, Ben Schofield and Chris Brooker.

Kissy Sell Out with lighting and visuals by Know1 plus DJ Friction, Sigma, Trolley Snatcha, Steve Hillage’s System 7, Mr Nice, Maxxi P, Sunfish, DJ Ambiessence vs Bostin Powers, The FOS Brothers, The Beadle, Minor Planet, Fred V & Grafix, Spinna Old Skool, Richmond, MC Jonny G, Agony, Reality, Phantom, Ben & Lex, Lewah and Pharma complete the bill for the evenings in The Little Big Top.

New for 2011 is the SILENT DISCO which will take place on Saturday and Sunday night in the The Little Big Top.

The line-up of spoken word and alternative performances on Dirty Davey’s Bandstand and music at The Bimble Inn are still to be announced.
