On this weeks Rock Show Mike James will be chatting to The King Blues front man Itch about their new album and playing lots of dates in the Westcountry this year. Plus he will be generally ranting and raving about life as they gear up to play Exeter Lemongrove on November 8th.
Mike will also be joined in the studio with Devon based band Flame Fracture who are in the running for a converted spot in next year’s Hammerfest taking place in Wales alongside legends Anthrax and Skindred. They will also be playing tracks fresh from the studio off their new EP.
Frontman Ray explained: “Well the EP is our first, and it’s a four track work called The Keep.
Adding: “Basically it’s a bit of a concept piece, themed around an abandoned watchtower (ie the keep), set in an arctic wasteland. And tells the story of the keeper, and the endless years he has been solely watching the skies, and the struggles with personal demons in his mind. This EP is kind of an introduction to us, our musical intentions and paving the way for a potentially epic story.”
