Trash City celebrates its sixth birthday on February 7 with a gig at Exeter’s Cavern Club.
Formed by local DJ and Phonic FM presenter Joe Rebel in 2003 Trash City has not only held down a successful monthly club night at Exeter Cavern, but have also played Beautiful Days festival several years running.
Trash City has played with the likes of Buzzcocks, Levellers, Selecter, Carbon-Silicon, The Alarm’s Mike Peters. Rancid’s Lars Fredrekshen, Toots and The Maytals, The Beat and many more.
The February 7 birthday gig will feature Phonic FM’s DJ Joe Rebel at the helm playing punk, reggae, indie and gems from the vaults. He will be joined by special guests Phonc FM’s DJ Sketchy and DJ Matt Oi.
The doors open at 8pm until 2.30am. Entry is free before 9 then £5 for the remainder of the night.
