Playing traditional folk and classical, Carnatic, Hindustani, Qawali as well as contemporary sounds such as hip hop, electronica, funk, drum n’ bass, indie. The show and the music is for everyone, celebrating the amazing and wonderful diverse music being produced.

What does Phonic FM mean to you?
Phonic FM means so much to me. It is an amazing space to share music within the local community and wider. The fact that I can play a full 10 minute Qawali track just shows how open and inclusive Phonic FM is. It is so vital for the community.
What do you do when you’re not on Phonic FM?
Listen to music, tell stories, record stories, spend time with my kids and family and constantly look for more music to share!
