Off Quay Festival 2014, May 25-26, 12pm-3am, Exeter Quay, £5-£8
This summer, Smoke and Mirrors presents Off Quay Festival, a new festival exclusive to Exeter. Taking place at Exeter’s picturesque Quay on May 25th, the day will provide much in the way of entertainment in support of Make a Wish foundation.
During the day you can enjoy a selection of family-friendly live music, food and workshops in partnership with local businesses along the quay for free (some workshops may require a small fee).
The summer fun will continue from day into night. After 9pm, expect a multiple venue celebration showcasing some of the South West’s finest DJ talent, featuring the likes of Molly The Odd, The Big V, Millie Cork, among many others.
The festival will take place in three main venues:
The Tobacco House is the largest of the venues with a capacity of 550. It has a combination of a restaurant, a bar, and a large open space perfect for the festival.
The Cellar Door is an underground music and art venue beneath the cobblestones of the Quayside. Its two cavernous cellars makes for some great music and a unique setting as a venue.
The Prospect Inn lives in the heart of the Quayside, offering great indoor and outdoor seating where you can relax and chill.
Throughout the day, there will be collection buckets in which the donations go straight to the Make a Wish foundation. Most of the funds made from ticket sales will also go towards this.
