An episode of popular BBC3 TV series Unsafe Sex and the City will be filmed in the Phonic FM studio next week.
The film crew, who have also been filming the critically acclaimed series in Leeds, will be rocking up in the studio on Friday 9 August at 2pm for a show on sexual health.
Fronted by regular Sunday morning presenter Anna Waite there will be input from two sexual health nurses from the drop-in centre on Sidwell Street, as well as an opportunity to phone in and participate.
To take part in the show please call 01392 434577 or e mail at studio@phonic.fm.
After several years of decrease in the number of cases of sexually transmitted diseases some are once again on the increase in the south-west. This and subsequent programmes will give an opportunity to anonymously ask for help, advice and information about a range of issues, as well as providing information about where to go for further advice in an environment which is supportive, with understanding and knowledgeable health professionals.
Anna will also be playing some of the music heard on her Anna presents show.
For further information, photo opportunities and contact with the presenter and staff please contact info@phonic.fm.
Series two of Unsafe Sex in the City is scheduled for early autumn transmission.
