Possibly the funniest fundraising event this year – a group of friends have decided to fun run down the River Exe on the 4th of August…in kayaks and funny hats!

We’re having a little party at Oddfellows Exeter for all the racers and supporters – so come join us and enjoy the music and cocktails.
Prizes – The BikeShed are donating some theatre tickets, and Majestic Wines on Marsh Barton are donating a nice bottle of wine.
Most importantly, we’re raising money for the Joliba Trust development charity working in Mali Africa. They do really good work and 97 per cent of their income goes directly on their projects in Mali (it’s important that the money goes exactly where it should). Mali is experiencing their worst drought in over 30 years and the Libyan civil war has caused increasing instability due to extremist activities, with many people now fleeing the northern region.
