Green Man Coming – A radio special tune in on Monday 21st March 5:30am to Midday.
From his mythical place somewhere between spring woodlands and the people, the Green Man has come to life again. On March 21st between sunrise and noon he will roam Exeter, leaving an abundance of messages behind (including 18 free tickets for events at the Phoenix). Hug him for fertility and tune into phonic fm from 5.30am for this years radio special Green Man Coming. DJ Sketchy, Dr Site and their special guests will discuss this mythical figure as they attempt to trace his movements with the help of Exeter’s residents. Join the debate about why it has taken him almost a millenium to return and what he is trying to tell us.
Best Green Man photo prize
The Phoenix have put up free ticket prizes for this years best Green Man photograph. All submissions will be put on the website and the best photograph will be exhibited at the Phoenix. Email your Green Man picture to tony@phonic.fm or leave it at the box office by March 27th 2011 (digital format only).
Green Man messages
18 tokens for free tickets have been mixed in with the messages the Green Man leaves behind. Bring them to the Phoenix’ box office by March 27th any later than that they will become invalid.
