Gentlemen of the Road, Sunday 12th September, Double Locks, Exeter, 7.30pm
The life of a highwayman who operated in Devon will be dramatised in a new play to be shown at the Double Locks, Exeter.
The production by the South Devon Players is set against the backdrop of Prince William of Orange arriving in the county.
Gentlemen of the Road is a two hour play by the Brixham based amateur company.
The community theatre group, based in Brixham, Torbay, specialises in action-packed, family orientated plays about Devon’s history and folklore.
Entry is free although donations are welcome. All the money raised will go back into the group to fund participation and inclusion for the disadvantaged, as well as into improved costumes and vital equipment like microphones and portable backdrops.
