If you like dancing or just fancy something a bit different head down to the annual Ceilidh for Amnesty International next Saturday.

Kicking off at 8pm in the Hall of St James’ church on Mount Pleasant Road in Exeter the yearly Ceilidh promises to be a night of fun, with all profits being donated to Amnesty International.

The band for the evening is the exuberant Spinach For Norman and the caller for the night is Phonic 106.8 FM’s Martin Hodge.

Expect a variety of dances from around the globe so slip on your dancing shoes or just come along and soak up the atmosphere.

Light refreshments will be on sale and you can bring your own alcoholic drinks.

The Ceilidh for Amnesty International is being held on Saturday November 8 at St James’ Church Hall, Mount Pleasant Road, Exeter. Near the Stoke Hill roundabout. A short walk from St James’ Park station. Bus numbers E, F2, P.

Tickets cost £8, concessions: unwaged full-time students £6, and children under 16 £4. Tickets can be purchased on the door.
