The Friday Modulation

The Friday Modulation

With Jim. Playing all the very best in mod, ska, punk and indie, it’s probably the best thing you can do on a Friday night with your clothes on.

What brought you to Phonic FM?

I have DJ’d most of my life starting at my 21st birthday party, playing pubs, clubs and venues across the city. A friend introduced me to Phonic FM in 2011 and I have not looked back – every DJ wants to be on the radio, don’t they?

What does Phonic FM mean to you?

It means that I can play my music to the people of Exeter and beyond. The south-west has always had a big mod/scooter scene.

What do you do when you’re not on Phonic FM?

I actually listen to a lot of music, go to lots of gigs (as well as organising some), spend time with my gorgeous wife Jenny, friends and family. I holiday as much as I can: anywhere hot is usually good. I am also a Liverpool fan.

How do radio presenters do it?

Hard and fast and without fear.
