My Little Packets of Three

My Little Packets of Three

With Stuart Smith.

Playing three songs in a row as I am extremely lazy – or maybe so the listener gets to hear three tracks in a row from an artist. I just play stuff that I really like: sometimes it’s all new music, sometimes all 60s and 70s. It just depends what music has been inspiring me.

What brought you to Phonic FM?

Rich and Andy (who presents Playtime on the alternate Saturdays) invited me to sit in on one of their shows. They made me talk into the mic and that was it, I was hooked.

What does Phonic FM mean to you?

I love putting the shows together and then spending two hours in the studio in the bowels of Exeter Phoenix, playing what I hope is great music and talking some rubbish between each packet of three. And I love meeting the other presenters who are so passionate and knowledgeable about their music.

What do you do when you’re not on Phonic FM?

Work, eat, sleep, drink and think about my next show on Phonic FM.

How do radio presenters do it?

With a massive passion.
