Accessibility Matters

Accessibility Matters

Andrew Barge, Chair of Trustees at Living Options Devon, will be talking all things accessibility. Living Options is a user-led disability charity offering a range of services to deaf people and the disabled community in the county of Devon. We talk about disability issues around Exeter and Devon, as well as playing a wide variety of music in between.

What brought you to Phonic FM?

Paul Giblin (the Future Sound of Exeter) connected us with Phonic FM and we’re really excited to tell listeners why Accessibility Matters!

What does Phonic FM mean to you?

It’s the voice and sound of Exeter.

What do you do when you’re not on Phonic FM?

As well as being chair for Living Options Devon, Andrew works in the NHS and for a local charity, Vranch House. He’s also a football commentator for BBC Radio Devon and a mad keen fan of Exeter City FC.

How do radio presenters do it?

Some with headphones on, some with headphones off!
